Areas of Application

Porcelain is a strong, sturdy tiling material, making it an excellent option in a variety of applications and spaces, including:

  • Bathrooms – Porcelain tile is highly moisture resistant, so it’s ideal for bathrooms. Larger tiles are usually used for bathroom flooring, while smaller porcelain mosaic tiles are used in the shower and tub areas.
  • Kitchen – Used for flooring, countertops, and backsplashes, porcelain kitchen tiles combine form and function quite well. They resist spills and stains, and withstand heat, impact, and high traffic.
  • Outdoor – As they’re frost and heat resistant, porcelain is a good choice for outdoor installations. They can be used as pool surrounds, lining steps and walkways, and around doors. Additionally, gardens, fountains, birdbaths, and even driveways can be attractively framed with porcelain layouts.
  • Living Areas – Wood and stone look porcelain tiles add charm and richness to indoor decors, and can thus be applied to living rooms, dining areas, and bedrooms.
